Heath Frisby Gold for Best Trick

Heath Frisby, the OG of Freestyle snowmobiling, has finally struck GOLD at Winter X Games 14!!  Heath pulled off a huge Ruler Indian Air Backflip to claim the number one spot and finally stand on top of that illustrious podium!!  It has been a long time coming for FRISBY and all of us at SCS want to send out a big congratulations to Heath Frisby for all his hard work and dedication!!

For a Winter X Games experience through the convenience of a mobile device, the new X Games SnoCross mobile game app for iPhone and iPod Touch devices — developed in conjunction with 2XL Games — is available now for $4.99 in the Apple iTunes App Store.

Red Bull Russia contacted SCS and wanted to develop a three city tour across Russia to promote the growth of Red Bull domestically.  SCS began to tackle this daunting, yet incredible opportunity to showcase Sledstyle to the masses!  The events were slated to run during the month of February 2009.  The cities chosen were Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Moscow.  Each event had its own uniqueness which made it exciting for SCS and the riders.  Novosibirsk used two ramps and a giant landing.  Yekaterinburg had a river gap jump.  Finally, Moscow used a setup that jumped perpendicular across a massive scaffolding structure that was used for an FIS Snowboard Big Air Event.

The riders chosen were Heath Frisby, Joe Parsons, Isaac Sherbine and Daniel Bodin.  Daniel was only able to ride our first event in Yekaterinburg and he did not disappoint.  We wish we had him throughout the tour but our three American boys straight threw down for the Russian crowds.  Our events were three of the biggest events ever done in Red Bull Russia history.  Yekaterinburg drew 35,000 fans.  Moscow drew 40,000 fans.  BUT OUR EVENT IN NOVOSIBIRSK WAS THE LARGEST EVENT IN RED BULL RUSSIA HISTORY WITH 75,000 fans in attendance.  This was truly a mind-blowing site for the SCS crew.  It was an unreal experience and we are all fortunate to have been able to produce these excellent events.  We also want to thank Red Bull Russia and its professional crew, especially Roman Chebunin, who started out as a business colleague but throughout the month in Russia he became a close friend!!  We all look forward to hopefully visiting more cities in Russia in the future and producing more quality Sledstyle events.

A few months ago Heath and the boyz were in Utah showing the Nitro Circus how to ride snowmobiles. (Or flip one in Travis Pastrana’s case)

If you look closely you will see Heath and Travis both sporting custom SCS Vinyl Works Sled Wraps!! The show is a huge success and we are all stoked to have Heath representing. Congrats to Frisby on another great year

For the second consecutive year SCS Vinyl Works had the opportunity to brand the Red Bull Wakelab Wakeboarding event. This year the event will be staged on the Tempe Town Lake and will be sure to attract some large crowds.  Our team handled this project from setup and printing, too shipping and application.
